End of the holidays

Hari2 lain, dok rumah tgk TV je...


This is a pic of Weepu performing the new haka ... menggerunkan gak ... I bet if you were watching it face to face you'd be pissing yourself. Tak ramai yg suka ... tp who cares, looks cool. It's under fire recently in the news papers. Well, if they can show gory images and violence on TV, this new haka wont hurt as much.







So lepas2 tgk TV tu ada la borak2 ngan member2 kat YM. Ramai lak yg cakap aku makin gemok ... mmg aku makin gemok pon ... hahaha ... so takleh kata pape la.

Aku akhirnye dah berhenti keje ... letih gile, I really feel that job isn't for me. Especially not if I'm doing it everyday. Tangan pon dah tak se'lembut' dulu ... hehehehe.Takpe ... janji ada income sikit. Nak beli DVD baru Tokyo Jihen ni, so kene la kumpul duit. Lagi pon nak cover expenses time boros dulu2 tu. Hopefully It can last me a good 2 months or more.

Hari ni start U. First day kelas, ingatkan intro bodo2 je. Skali lecturer cakap nama .... blah3 ... terus start kelas, subject networking. Topic: Classless routing, Subnetting subnets. AMBIK !!!
Dah la aku lupa banyak adduss kene study balik la ni.

The only interesting thing that happened was that I had a game last weekend. Team aku menang la (reserve). 20 - 14 lawan Barron Trinity. Malangnye A-grade aku kalah. Kluar paper tuuu!!!!!!

Reserve grade pon die ada mention tp seciput je la ... "RESERVE GRADE: UTS 20 d Barron Trinity 14". Siapa score tuk reserve grade pon tak ckp ... (tp bkn aku score pon ...)

Well, that shows how much they love their sport.

Anyway, kalo A grade aku menang dah leh secure club championship sebenarnye tapi kalah, nak buat camne.

Well, it's the end of the holidays, approaching the end of the season, start of the semester, start of the preparations for the premiership grand final. Can't wait ...

Thank God It's Friday (TGIF)

Well, it's Friday. Patut public holiday tp kene keje ... tapi ... aku terlajak tido ... sbb smalam kene keje sampai lambat ... pastu kene gi training lagi. Nasib baik boss aku baik ... so rilek je.

We had this house we had to finish up. Rumah org kaya, besar gile, ala mansion kecik. It was challenging so I had to go to work for the whole week (except friday, terlajak nye pasal) sebab nak siapkan umah tu by Monday. Managed to witness a beautiful sunrise one morning. Don't remember what day. Too tired to even care.

Anyway, U start lg 2 minggu, so there's plenty of time to concentrate on everything else, like rugby and work. The results were out, and I'm glad they turned out the way they were. So glad that I bought my self presents(new boots and a jersey)... hehehe ... bukan la result yg terbaik ... tp cukup tuk puaskan hati aku. I think I ended up spoiling myself sebab boros gile. Nasib baik aku keje so leh la cover sikit2. Tak pe la ... skali skala ... just on special occasions.

We had a game on Friday night. It was an important game. A game to decide who is on top of the table. It was like a dream come true to play in a big game on foreign soil in front of a grand stand and with the spotlights on you. Terasa cam 'star', especially when you have fans shouting your name(Barry, not quite my real name, but close enough). Further more it rained that night. The setting was like one of those dramatic Hollywood sports movie scenes(the ones when the team dramatically loses).

However, we won this one, and won big. 4 tries to 1. Don't remember the conversions, and don't really care(because kalo amik kira pon, we'll still win). This was one of the best games I've seen us play this season. I didn't get the ball, but I was involved a lot. Got a few tackles and joined a few rucks.
Now that we've won, we're 1st in the premiership table. The 1st grade won as well, so balik ngan rasa puas hati, biarpon kene kayuh basikal balik penat2. Well, that sums up the week. Tiring but enjoyable.

Besok kene gi keje *sigh* ... kene bangun kul 4 lagi ... so kene tido awal. Some of my friends went out to town to celebrate the victory.

Well then, it looks like I'll be celebrating in my sleep. ZZzzzZzzzzz

Sweet Taste of Victory ...

Smalam aku beli boot baru ngan Jersi Wallabies, so pokai gile ... tiba2 boss aku telepon.
Soh keje sok .. caya lah ... tp adduss ... kene bgn kul 4 ... takpe .. Saturday is confirmed to be a hectic day.

After a dull uneventful week, Saturday has arrived. I woke up at 4.45, blah blah blah, went to work. 1st time gi keje awal gile ni. Kene datang awal sbb nak siapkan umah org kaya ni atas bukit ari ni gak sblm kul 12 tgh hari.

Rumah tu kat tmpt orang kaya, atas bukit. View die mmg cun la. But there's no time to enjoy the scenery, a lot of work to be done ...

Ketuk sana ketuk sini ... Skru sana Skru sini .... siap la satu umah ni. Kecik je umah die, but I bet tanah die mahal gile.

Nasib baik siap sblm kul 12. So terus pack barang2 semua pastu gerak gi Gordonvale, UTS Mariners vs SouthSide Crusaders. Gerak dgn Boss+workmates aku. Semua nye team mate, hehehehe.

Lepas warm up, start la game kul 2. Aku pon main la sungguh2 moga2 dapat improve performance minggu lepas ... Unlike other weeks, the ball actually reached the wingers. So banyak la aku dapat bola, tapi tak dapat Try. Ada, tp disallowed, forward pass katanya. Tensen je. Tak pe2 ... nasib baik aku menghasilkan performance yg memuaskan ... hehehe ...
Satu team up-kan tempo banding ngan minggu lepas, ikut game plan betul2.Kiranya satu team main gempak gile, tp kene consider, opponent pon cam sayur. Nak dekat habis2 game tu aku kene sub. Tak pe, aku pon puas ati gile, sbb byk dpt bola, byk contribution, dan team aku tgh menang. So, lepas 80 minit main, ref pon tiup wiselnye.

Aku tak leh balik sbb transport takde, kene tumpang member yg tunggu nak tgk 1st grade kita org main, lawan South Side Crusaders gak. Gempak gile la 1st grade aku main. Bangga gile jadi ahli team tu (walaupun aku reserve je). Belasah opponent kaw2 nye. Tapi tak cam team reserve, defence die ada bocor gak. Tapi sikit je la, tapi attacking flair die gile gempak.

Team aku dominate gile2 sampai da half time tak terkira score die. Spectator da malas nak layan gak ... sbb da ketara sangat siapa yg akan menang. Main pon ganas gile.






So, no surprise team aku menang lagi. Result ??

Lepas game tu letih gile nye so nak balik tido je ... tp club aku ada function lak, attendance compulsory lak tu. Die org ajak pi tgk game Australia vs South Africa which ended in a win for the Wallabies.

Ari tu bkn main smgt lari ... tgh sprint laju gile ... skali nampak lubang kat defence cantik nye ... per lagi ... SIDESTEP !!! ...Zeessssss .... terjatuh ... takde grip ... kaki terasa berangin je ... tgk2 ada lobang besar gile ... nampak jari kaki ... adduss ... kene bli boot baru la ni ... ari tu da repair da, kat cobbler soh die gam-kan , katanye , "It'll last at least 6 months" . 6 months pale hotak die, 2 minggu je tahan ... pastu terbukak balik.





So ari ni terpaksa aku klua duit beli but baru, tanya brader kedai tu, expert gak die, cakap die, ada klua point2 scientifik. Which areas have more pressure during sidesteps, which areas during kicks, acceleration, etc. Luckily he showed me what's best for me. Mmg expert yg berpengalaman. Camne aku tau ?? Sbb aku pernah lawan die ... hahahha .... power lak tu mamat ni .. tackle aku ... bengkak gak lah besok2 pagi. So die offer la aku boot ni, brand "Nomis". Aku tak de duit, kene beli yg murah nye ... paling murah $145... Pergh ... agak2 sama harga ngan Adidas/Nike. Ari tu nasib baik ada diskaun 40%... so dapat ar $105. Dengar la cerita brader tu .. kisah silam die semua .. die pon pakai boot Nomis gak rupanya (sedap ati aku sikit ... mamat otai pakai boot sama ... hahahha... leh aku jadik otai gak... hehehehe)... keje kat sport store nye pasal ... boss die kasi free ... hmmm

Losing it

It's Sunday, me boss told me to work coz he needed the house finished by Monday. Penat gile ...
Orait gak keje buat rumah ni ... bukan satu rumah ... tp dinding je. It's plaster boards any way so it's not that hard. Needs a lot of skill though, skill's I don't have quite yet... Still learning.
Kejenye sapu lantai, kemas2 area construction je ... tapi bilik aku pon still bersepah gak ... hahahha

From a full time programmer ... to sweeping floors, how low can you get eh ??

The pay is good though ... $12 an hour, cleaning the place for a whole day, which amounts to $80. I only get paid $4 per hour back home ... working as a programmer ...

I like working here ... my boss is my teammate anyway, so he isn't that strict on me.

Since "shahrin" is so hard to pronounce (ends up sounding like "sharon") ... so they call me Barry, Baz, blah2... ada yg panggil aku Mr Malaysia ... hmmm ...

Well, working was hard enough on a Sunday, and we(UTS mariners reserve grade) lost a game on Saturday, lawan Innisfail vikings(rival club tu ... match yg determine siapa top of the table). They didn't win, we lost coz we just made too many mistakes especially in the second half. So ... nak lepas tensen ... tgk la 1st grade team aku main ... lawan Port Douglas Raiders... kalah gak ... adduss ... tensen gile ...

Argh ... balik tgk Wallabies lawan All Blacks la lg puas ..

So lepas keje tu, balik kul 6.30 ptg .... Dok kat bilik ... main guitar ... tgk2 member2 aku jerit2 kat luar tingkap ... ajak aku pi bandar tgk France vs Italy(world cup)

I wanted France to win ... coz Italy kicked the socceroos out... tak patut siot penalti last minit tu.

Well ...every one knew what happened during the game ...

Italy won ... damn italians ...
All I can say is that no one deserved to lose that night ...

France were dominant most of the game but Italy looked more threatening. I'm still happy because Henry played well. Tembus defence Italy selambe je ...
Well, tough luck ... (apsal semua team yg aku support semua kalah ?? AARRGGHH)

We arrived home at 8 am .... tired ....
some just couldn't hold their bladder ...














Well ... that pretty much sums up my whole weekend ... what a week. As for me and my team ... it's back to the drawing board ... tactics ... drills ... more hard training ... Not so sure we can defend our title as premiership holders this year.
