Game : phase 2

Improved version of the game. I made a car using blender. Marwan kata ada rupa cam kereta Tamiya sikit. hmm . Maybe he's right ...

The mesh kelam kabut sikit. Kadang2 nampak cam transparent. It's because the normal is pointing in the opposite direction. I have to find a way to render both sides then ...

available for dload HERE
Controls cam dulu gak ...

[esc] - quit
[up arrow] - accelerate
[down arrow] - reverse
[left arrow] - turn left
[right arrow] - turn right
[space bar] - brake

Game in the making

I made a game, well, part of it. It's just a test though. It's for my assignment. A driving game. Haven't done a detailed version yet. As I said, THIS IS JUST A TEST. I had some discussions with Marwan, and he suggested that I add drag, which I did. This added some realism to it, however it still behaves wierd for some reason.

you can get the .exe HERE

you have to unzip the file and double click CP2060_asmt.exe. The glut32.dll file MUST be in the same directory.

The car is represented by the yellow box. Kind of confusing because you don't know which direction is forward. When the program starts, the car is pointing towards you, along the z axis. Therefore if you accelerate it will come towards you. You'll get used to it. The red, green and blue line represents the origin, 0,0,0, and is used as a guide. I will post more of my work later on as progress is made. If you have any suggestions(like Marwan), buzz me.

You can move the car around using the following controls:
[esc] - quit
[up arrow] - accelerate
[down arrow] - reverse
[left arrow] - turn left
[right arrow] - turn right
[space bar] - brake

My $200 poster

Finally it's Thursday .. pi town ... buat CT scan ... costs $200 ... abis gaji seminggu.
Rasa cam professional player lak ... injured je gi scan .. hehehe. Aku tgk kat film, expected to find a crack or something damaging. Takde pon ... tp still tak simetri gak.

Scientific definition of beauty = proportion AND symmetry

Therefore, scientifically I can no longer be categorized as a beautiful person ... hahahahha

Anyway, not just the cheek, tp semua tak simetri. hahahaha. Either the skull isn't meant to be symmetrical or aku ni byk gile kecacatan kat kepala. So lepas da scan tu, malam tu pi la jumpa doktor/coach. Tgk film tu langsung aku tak paham. Bdk Comp Science la katakan. So die pon cerita la kat aku. Katanya aku mungkin ok dalam 3 minggu ... tak dapat nak main semi finals tapi ada peluang nak main tuk Grand Finals ... YESS !!! Rupa2nya CT scan ni bkn nak tgk fracture nye ... nak tgk samada ada internal bleeding kat sinus cavity ke tak ... takut ada infection naik masuk mata or otak ... tu gile nye serius la kalo ada infection. Tapi alhamdulillah takde, just a dented, asymmetrical skull ... hehehe.

Won the Premiership ... but at a cost

WE WON THE CAIRNS DIVISION RUGBY UNION MINOR PREMIERSHIP
Finally ...menang ...but I don't have photos. why ??
Because other events seemed to have higher significance than wining the competition.

I was selected in the starting 15. But I didn't play for long. I got cought in a head high tackle.
My nose was bleeding so I was taken off (blood bin). The guys wanted me to play (sbb aku kira cam gempak gak la ... hahhahaha) , thinking that it was just a minor injury, so they told me to blow my nose to get rid of the blood. The air suddenly rushed through my sinus and out through my right eye socket. After that they knew something was terribly wrong. Apparently I've fractured my right cheek bone and therefore I need an X Ray and surgery to repair the damage and lift the cheekbone to it's original position. Till then my face is now asymmetrical.

*sigh*

What luck ... Looks like I'll be missing the grand final.
Well, on the bright side, it doesn't hurt ... but I'll be out for six weeks, the rest of the season.
In the long term it could effect the rest of my life, may have to remain single... hahahaha ...
Anyway, on the inside, I haven't changed much ... thankfully.
