Dark Matter (New Vocals)


I have finished recording a new song called EverGreen. Its about Global Warming. I'll wait for feedback before recording the full version. Its a modified, polished up version of my old song called friend. As for Dark Matter, I rerecorded the vocals using a new microphone I bought. Yg DJ radio pakai tu. Expensive, sort of, but definitely worth it and crucial to my recording quality. Though I could still use someone with a better voice.

Dark Matter (improved)

Meor komen, suara tak clear and tak cukup kuat. So aku try clearkan skit and kuatkan. Tp tak byk la, sbb da start pecah2 da.

Alep soh buat double solo. So aku buat la ... unfortunately aku rasa cam tak segempak yg aku sangkakan. Sori la Alep ... nnt kalau ada inspirasi aku modify part tu.


I also increased the volumes for the drums. So you coud feel the beat of the song.
Also disebabkan feedback member2 yg positif, aku tambah 1 guitar track utk intro so bunyi tak la bosan nak mampos. More comments are welcome.

Dark Matter (complete)

Sori lama tak update. Not much happening in my life right now.

So ... ni la lagu dark matter. It's about ... dark matter ... if you don't know what it is, go read about it. Took ages to finish it. Finished recording on Hari Raya. I think the solo part is one of the best ones I've come up with. Don't know what inspired me, maybe because I'm getting better or maybe sbb hari raya.

The quality of voice recording isn't the best. Tak clear. But IMO its better than my last song. The lyrics are HERE.

I also decided to scrap the verses of the last song, M. Somehow suara tak kne ngn music. I might rerecord it again next time. A new song is coming up tp baru tahap idea je.

Masa first aku record tu ... dengar balik .. baru sedar suara aku ... sucks gile ..
Sblm ni prasan sedap .. hahahah ... but whatever.
Skrg aku tau suara aku tak sedap ... but thats not the point. The idea is what I wanted to present, and the meaningful lyrics. Sebutan tak dgr sgt sbb pakai mic PC je(and because of the pointless attempt to cover up the imperfections of my singing). By th way, the vocal recording quality wasn't good.

Hahaha .. sementara bosan2 hari ahad. Surf la internet mencari wallpaper... terserempak ngan gambar Guitar Hisashi from Glay. Guitar die mmg unik ... custom made ... khas utk die. Agak cun gak ar. Semua guitar die design cmtu. Like a drop of water. So tgh2 bosan ni dan perasaan jeles ngan gambar tu ... Aku buat aku nye sendiri... amik gambar guitar aku ... bikin kat photoshop skit ... Pstu alang2 tarok nama Kiara Sunrise... hmmm ... agak2 ada rupa cover CD utk single aku nanti ... HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA (lagu tak siap lagi .. tp takpe kot kalau aku nk berangan skit... ala ... skali skala kan ..).
So ni la die...For those who didn't know... Kiara Sunrise ditubuhkan oleh aku ... and I was pretty much the song writer. I wrote the song 'Friend' ... unintentionally ripped the chorus of L'arc~en~Ciel. Tak la sama pada pendapat aku ... tp bunyi dekat2 la .... ala ... masa tu heavily influenced by L'arc~en~Ciel. What to do(nak buat cmne ...hahahah) ... ??
So aku quit band tu... ada join lg satu band ni tp cam tak gerak je. Aku tulis lagu gak... tapi tak membuahkan hasil. So alang2 solo je la. So since aku yg tubuhkan band Kiara Sunrise ... aku pakai nama tu gak ... cam alias la ...

Anyway nnt aku abiskan recording. Still tgh carik guitar effects utk guitar track aku. thanks to Chong for helping me out on that one. Tp still tak jumpa lg ...

Ni la Bass and Drum utk lagu latest aku tapi intro xde lagi. Da research da lagu2 lain(fuyooo saje nk kasi bunyi gempak ... cam aku study laa ... hahaha ).

Example cam "GLAY - Be With You" intro die cam dibuat khas ... die main skali je dlm satu lagu tu. Tp cam leceh lak nk buat cmtu. Kne cipta another melody ...

Yg obvious, mainkan chorus je ... just like all other typical songs. Tapi unlike other songs, aku transpose chorus aku 1 1/2 steps. Bkn pe ... tp kalau main chorus awal2 cam spoil lak ... aku nak kasi listeners aku cam terkejut ... hahaha.

Then again, glay pn transpose part intro "Be With You" tu. (aku main transpose2 ni influence GLAY la ni .. ) .. Nnt2 la aku pikirkan.

Tengah2 tu ada cam jazz skit. Influence Tokyo Jihen la ni ... cam tiru pn ada gak ... hahaha ...
tak la tiru .. jazz nye bass mmg walking bass, nak buat cmne. As for the drums, masa part tu aku langsung xde idea. Tp guitar 100% original composition ... Bangga gile siot ngan part tu ... hahahha

Well, topik recording lak. Aku tak rekod bnde ni sbenarnya. Just pakai software "Fruity Loops"
yg baru aku cilok dr mmbr aku. Agak gempak gak. Tp mostly for Dance n Hip Hop laaa ...
So sesiapa yg berminat mereka lagu Dance or HipHop or whatever, i can give this to you. Kecik je ... 40MB je.
